Conference Presentations on the Relationship between Neuroscience, EvPsych, and Fiction Writing
These are several of the presentations I've given in the past couple of years. The commentary is in the notes, visible if you download or simply open and use Powerpoint's edit feature.
Dreams and Fiction-writing
This is part one of a combination of two presentations in PowerPoint on the relationship between dreams, neuroscience, and literature. Both talks were collaborations with Jason Ronstadt, another fiction writer. The first talk was given at the Dactyl Poetics-CogSci Colloquy in Soho, NY in September of '05. The second talk was given in April at the first conference in Literature and Cognitive Science, hosted by UConn in Storrs, CT

QWERTYUIOP and EP: Implications of EP for the Working Fiction Writer
This was a conference talk delivered at HBES 2005 in Austin, TX. I slipped in to the session late and (inadvertently) almost sat on Steven Pinker, but it all worked out in the end.
