Samantha Hunt picks Circulation as a fave in The Week

Samantha Hunt, author of Mr. Splitfoot, picked Circulation as one of her favorite short books in The Week: Circulation by Tim Horvath (Sunnyoutside, $10). This 67-page book pulls off the best trick: It is huge inside. It also covers my favorite bottomless topics — unwritten atlases, secrets fathers keep, the Library of Congress, Scheherazade, bibliomania, and caves.”

Thanksgiving Pick from Indiana Review Editor

Peter Kispert, editor of the Indiana Review, chose Understories as a “collection [he’s] thankful for,” stating that “Tim’s stories are sharp and highly intelligent–studies with heart and a strong sense of narrative form. I would particular recommend ‘The Understory’–a title story that does not disappoint.” I grew up in Bloomington, Indiana, so the IR sort of feels like my hometown paper in a strange way; ergo I’m all the more thankful right back.
